Home Educating

I have many reasons for home educating.

My reasons are anchored in these key components.

  • to honour the need for children to be with attachment figures
  • for more time outside in nature
  • for more play
  • for more time to be imaginative and creative
  • for more opportunity to nurture a growth mindset
  • to limit the use of technology
  • to offer an intrinsically motivated education
  • to follow the child
  • to have a more connected family
  • to have a broader curriculum
  • for more quiet time
  • for more movement
  • for more freedom
  • to learn by doing and using concrete materials
  • to hold my children close. Because I want their family to be their biggest influence.
